Who we are

British Botany is a unique business based in Liverpool and operating nationally that specialises in botanical plus habitat survey and assessment, licensing, and habitat restoration/recreation. Examples of services offered by British Botany includes: UKHab, Phase 1, National Vegetation Classification (NVC) and important plant survey in addition to other services such as Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG), Field Identification Skills Certificate (FISC) assessment, training, and events bookings. Directed by Joshua Styles MSc AMRSB MCIEEM with over 8 years’ commercial ecological experience as a technical authority and over 20 years’ botanical survey experience, we strive to offer a broad selection of tailored and high-quality services to industry standards.
